You don’t need to live in Jamaica to play Boccia for Jamaica – is a project around creating awareness that Jamaicans with disabilities from all around the global diaspora are encouraged to pick up Boccia balls and play and train with the aspiration of one day competing for the National Jamaican Boccia Team.

Boccia Jamaica recognizes many factors, including systemic racial inequalities, may hinder persons of Jamaican descent living abroad from accessing the sport of Boccia through to competing in it and receiving regular training.

The project will facilitate contact with the Jamaican national Boccia team, assist regarding obtaining/renewing Jamaica citizenship, and facilitate coaching support in preparation for competitions at the international level.

We would love to hear from you if this has awakened your curiosity!
