In Jamaica, there are three types of domestic Boccia tournaments:
- Jamaica Boccia Cup
- Jamaica Boccia Regionals (Eastern Jamaica, Central Jamaica, and Western Jamaica)
- Jamaica Boccia National Championships, also known as Jamaica Boccia Nationals
National Champions and those with strong potential in the BC1-BC4 classes will be eligible to represent Jamaica at World Boccia Tournaments. World Boccia tournaments award ranking points towards qualification for the Parapan-American and Paralympic Games.
All tournaments are held under World Boccia rules in order to prepare athletes for International competition.
