The Jamaica Boccia Association was formed in 2023 to develop the Paralympic sport of Boccia in Jamaica. We believe in the power of parasport to invigorate communities and change attitudes toward disability.
The foundations for Boccia Jamaica were laid by an Internationally acclaimed Boccia Coach and two Jamaican Paralympian’s.
As the National Sports Association, we encourage the highest standard in play, coaching, and athlete development through a structured, transparent, and well-governed organisation. We support and manage all levels of Jamaican Boccia, from grassroots play to the Jamaican National Boccia Team.
We work with the Jamaica Paralympic Association (JPA) however we are fully independent. Therefore we align ourselves with the values of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) by developing and fostering Parasport excellence in Jamaica and we are the Jamaican full member and work closely with World Boccia, the International Governing Federation for Paralympic Boccia.
